Into the wild: Wilderness Camp at Robbins Island Park

Children learned about the great outdoors for a one-day Wilderness Camp Wednesday morning, conducted by Sibley State Park Naturalist Kelsey Olson, at Robbins Island Park in Willmar.

Camp-goers had the opportunity to test out GPS systems, go on a hike around the park, learn about native Minnesota animals and much more.

Sibley State Park programs are held throughout the summer for children and their families in several locations throughout the Lakes Area. For more information, visit www.dnr.state.mn.us.
